Terms of Use
Last updated: October 19, 2026
These terms cover the app The Honest Hum, published by Cristiano Fonseca (Brazil). By using the app you agree to them.
Wellness, not medicine
The app offers sounds, stories and breathing exercises for relaxation and focus. It does not diagnose, treat or prevent any condition. If trouble sleeping goes on for weeks, or breathing exercises make you dizzy or uncomfortable, stop and talk to a doctor.
Use it gently
Keep the volume at the lowest level that covers the noise around you, especially with headphones and near children. Don't use the breathing exercises while driving or in water.
Premium
- Subscriptions (monthly, or yearly with a free trial) are sold through Google Play or the App Store and renew automatically until you cancel in your store account at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. A free trial turns into a paid subscription unless you cancel before it ends.
- Lifetime is a single payment that never renews.
- Prices are shown in the store before you buy. Payment, renewals, cancellations and refunds are handled by the store, under its rules.
- Premium is tied to your store account; use Restore purchases on a new phone with the same account. A subscription bought on Android does not carry over to iPhone, or the other way round.
Free version and ads
The free version shows non-personalised banner ads from Google, never while a sound or story is playing and never between 9 pm and 6 am.
Content
Stories are our own retellings of folktales, myths and fairy tales. Scripture quotations are from the World English Bible, which is in the public domain. The app, its sounds, texts and design belong to The Honest Hum; you may use them for your own listening, not to copy or resell them.
Availability
We work to keep the app and the story server running, but can't promise it will always be available. Stories you have already downloaded keep playing offline.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, the app is provided as it is, and we are not liable for indirect losses. Nothing here limits your rights as a consumer under the law of your country, including Brazil's Consumer Defence Code.
Apple
On the App Store, Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies.
